1988-2022 Yılları Arasında Türkiye’de Turizm Eğitimi Alanında Yayımlanmış Tezlerin Bibliyometrik Değerlendirmesi

Abstract
Turizm sektöründe kalifiye eleman ihtiyacı olmazsa olmaz bir olgudur. Kalifiye eleman temini için de Turizm Eğitiminin kalitesinin yüksek olması gerekmektedir. Turizm sektöründe çok önemli bir yere sahip olan “Turizm Eğitimi” , ülkemizde; Ortaöğretim, Ön lisans ve Lisans düzeylerinde verilmektedir. Verilen bu eğitimler ile bu okullardan mezun olan öğrenciler turizm sektörünün yetişmiş eleman ihtiyacını karşılamaktadır. Turizm eğitimi konusunda literatürü incelediğimizde özellikle son yıllarda bu alanda yazılan tezlerin sayılarının bir hayli arttığını görmekteyiz. Bibliyometrik Analiz, yayınların çeşitli parametrelerine (konu, yöntem ve kaynakça vb. bilgileri gibi) ilişkin bir sıklık analizi, sosyal ağ analizi ve atıf analizini içeren bir çeşit içerik analizidir. Yapılmış olan bu çalışma ile Yüksek Öğretim Tez Merkezi (YÖKTEZ) veri tabanı 1988-2022 yılları arasında turizm eğitimi alanında yazılmış olan tezleri farklı parametreler dâhilinde inceleyerek bibliyometrik açıdan özelliklerinin belirlenmesi hedeflenmiştir.

Abstract
The need for qualified personnel in the tourism sector is an indispensable phenomenon. In order to supply qualified personnel, the quality of Tourism Education must be high. “Tourism Education”, which has a very important place in the tourism sector, in our country; It is given at secondary education, associate degree and undergraduate levels. With these trainings, the students who graduate from these schools meet the qualified personnel needs of the tourism sector. When we examine the literature on tourism education, we see that the number of theses written in this field has increased considerably in recent years. Bibliometric analysis is a kind of content analysis that includes a frequency analysis, social network analysis and citation analysis of various parameters (such as subject, method and bibliography, etc.) of publications. With this study, it was aimed to determine the bibliometric characteristics of the theses written in the field of tourism education between 1988-2022 in the Higher Education Thesis Center (YÖKTEZ) database, by examining them within different parameters.
