Abstract
Bu çalışma, aşırı turizm (overtourism) olarak ifade edilen insan yoğunluğu, çevre ve gürültü kirliliği, ulaşım sorunu ve olumsuz turizm deneyimlerine karşı, son yıllarda turizm endüstrisinin kısa ve uzun vadede turistik destinasyonlar, turistler ve yerel halk üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerini azaltmak ve bilinçli seyahat alışkanlığını geliştirmek üzere ortaya çıkan bir hareket olarak rejeneratif (yenileyici) turizm kavramını incelemektedir. Çalışmanın amacı, ulusal alanyazında henüz yeni olan ‘rejeneratif turizm’ yaklaşımı ile ilgili bir yazın taraması yapmak, aşırı turizm kavramı ile karşılaştırmak ve kavramsal bir çerçeve oluşturmaya çalışmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda; çalışmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımı benimsenmekte olup, konuya ilişkin veriler kaynak ve doküman incelemesi yoluyla elde edilmiştir.

Abstract
This study examines the concept of regenerative tourism as an emerging movement to reduce the negative effects of the tourism industry on touristic destinations, tourists and local people in the short and long term in recent years, and to improve the habit of conscious travel, against human density, environmental and noise pollution, transportation problem and negative tourism experiences, which are expressed as overtourism. The aim of the study is to make a literature review about the 'regenerative tourism' approach, which is still new in the national literature, to compare it with the concept of extreme tourism and to try to create a conceptual framework. In accordance with this purpose; qualitative research approach is adopted in the study, and the data on the subject were obtained through source and document review.
