Abstract
Hölderlin’in erdemle dolu yine de ozanca barınır insan bu yeryüzünde sözü, insanın varoluş özüne dair çok farklı yorumlara yol açmıştır. Günümüzün en büyük felsefecilerinden Heidegger de Aydınlanma ve modernlik ile Batı düşüncesinin insanı getirdiği noktadan rahatsızdır. Özellikle insanı teknolojik bir tahakküm altına alması ve hayatı çerçevelemesi karşısında şiire ve sanata sarılır. Bilim ve felsefenin hayatın sırrını çözebilecek donanımlarının olmadığına inanır. Varlığın gizini ortaya çıkaracak olan sanat ve özelde şiirdir. Bu sebeple hayatının sonlarında felsefe yerine şiire yönelmiş, şairi olarak da Hölderlin’i seçmiştir. Hölderlin’in şiiri insanı, Batı’nın unuttuğu varlık üzerine düşünmeyi yeniden sağlayacaktır. Heidegger’in şiirle barışması, Rousseau’nun tabiriyle şiirin gırtlağını kesen ve ilk modern filozof olarak bilinen Descartes’ın Kartezyen düşüncesine bir tepkidir.

Abstract
Hölderlin's statement that man, full of virtue, nevertheless dwells on this earth as a bard, has led to many different interpretations of the nature of human existence. Heidegger, one of the greatest philosophers of our time, is also concerned about the point to which the Enlightenment, modernity and Western thought have brought man. He welcomes poetry and art, especially in the face of the technological control and framing of life. He believes that science and philosophy are incapable of solving the riddle of life. It is above all art and poetry that will reveal the secret of existence. For this reason, at the end of his life, he turns to poetry instead of philosophy and chooses Hölderlin as his poet. Hölderlin's poetry will make people think again about the being that the West has forgotten. Heidegger's reconciliation with poetry is a reaction to the Cartesian thinking of Descartes, who is known as the first modern philosopher and who, in the words of Rousseau, cut the throat of poetry.
